Sephora Set to Open Boutique-Style Store in Central London

Sephora Expands with Boutique Concept in Central London

Sephora is continuing its UK growth with the launch of a new boutique-style store in central London. The 2,600 sq ft space, set to open later this year at Carnaby Street, will mark the brand’s 14th location in the UK market — but this opening introduces a fresh retail concept designed to elevate the customer experience.

A New Store Format with a Personalised Focus

Unlike Sephora’s traditional large-format stores, this new boutique model will centre on carefully curated product selections, tailored beauty advice, and faster service. The store will feature a redesigned façade and introduce advanced ‘Beauty Scan’ technology, enabling more personalised product recommendations. The goal is to create a smooth, multi-channel shopping journey that blends in-store expertise with digital innovation.

Customers visiting the Carnaby Street location will still have access to Sephora’s wide portfolio of global beauty brands, exclusive launches, and special collaborations available only through Sephora UK.

Joining London’s Beauty Hub

Carnaby Street and the surrounding Soho district have become a key destination for beauty retail. The area is already home to brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Grown Alchemist, Pixi, Sculpted by Aimee, and Aesop. Sephora’s arrival is expected to further strengthen the district’s reputation as a leading beauty hotspot.

Continued UK Momentum

The announcement follows Sephora’s recent debut in Victoria Square, which opened on 12 February and marked the retailer’s first store in Northern Ireland.

This rapid expansion comes shortly after parent company LVMH praised Sephora’s strong performance, highlighting continued growth in both revenue and profit.

Sephora Launches Innovative New Store Concept in London’s Beauty Hub

Catherine Spindler, President of Sephora Europe & Middle East, expressed enthusiasm about unveiling the new store concept in London, describing the city as a global centre for beauty culture and innovation.

William Oliver, Director of Retail & Restaurant Leasing at Shaftesbury Capital, added that Sephora is currently one of the most sought-after brands in the UK. He noted that its focus on exclusive products and distinctive in-store experiences will set it apart within Soho’s competitive beauty landscape while complementing Carnaby Street’s diverse retail offering.
